How to get from Good to Great
I know you want to improve your skills. Coaching can be a cheat code for success in consulting. It works much better if you already doing well. It's best to use if you want to get from Good to Great.
Do you know the movie Limitless with Bradley Cooper?
It’s one of my favourite movies.
If you haven’t watched it, here is the plot without spoilers.
A struggling writer gains access to a revolutionary drug that enhances his brainpower and propels him to high-stakes success.
I was fascinated by that idea.
Of course, I didn’t take it literally, but I liked it as a concept. I never experimented with drugs. Instead, I always tried to find productivity hacks to enhance my brainpower.
I couldn’t help but imagine how much success I could achieve if I hacked my brain and became way smarter.
I tried many things, and I realized one simple truth:
Great coaching and mentorship can be a cheat code for success.
You save yourself lots of time and nerves by leveraging existing knowledge and expertise. It’s just a more effective way of learning and improving than trying to figure things out on your own.
There are many parallels between that magic drug and great coaching. But one particular similarity caught my attention. Let me explain.
I really liked one thing that Eddie Morra, the protagonist in the movie, says:
I learned that I could access the far reaches of my brain with 100% clarity. But I also learned that the drug didn't work like a magic pill that automatically made you smart. If you were already smart, you could become brilliant; if you were average, it made you smarter, but you were still within your limits.
I see the same pattern in my coaching program.
Individuals who already perform well achieve even more exceptional results with effective coaching. It becomes a force amplifier for them.
Technically, they didn’t have to get that coaching. They do pretty well on their own. But they have this unstoppable desire to become even better versions of themselves.
That is why they diligently learn best practices, complete practical exercises, and ask many insightful questions.
And, as no surprise, they achieve the maximum value from the program and demonstrate a significant step change in their performance.
Coincidentally, I enjoy working with these consultants the most. It’s an absolute pleasure to work with driven and motivated people. And I can see the impact of my work very quickly.

- in good standing (no negative rating);
You joined MBB Consulting to radically change your career. You can't afford to fail and waste your time.
